Distance Meet
Stipends will only be given if the Distance Meet was labelled as such at the Bid Meeting and if the correct events are offered.

As a reminder, the following events must be included at all sanctioned distance meets in order to receive a stipend
(as per technical planning HOD May 11, 2005):

11-12 400 IM; 13-14 400 IM (can be held as 11-14 400 IM but awards must be given to 11-12 and 13-14);

10-Under 500 free; 11-12 500 free (can be held as 12&Under 500 free but awards must be given to 10-under and 11-12);

Open 1650 free.
Team that want to add events to this list must ask the Board ahead of time, in writing, for an exception to this rule.

In addition, teams have the option to add the Open 400 IM or to run the 400 IM as an open event (and still give
awards to 11-12 and 13-14) (as per technical planning HOD May 17, 2006)
