The Roosevelt Island Marlins Swim Team (RIST-MR) is one of the most successful swimming programs in the Manhattan/Queens area. We are looking for instructors/swim coaches to work with our future swimming stars. Our athletes are ranked at the top of metropolitan swimming age group championships. By joining our program you will have a chance to learn coaching skills from professionals.
We offer a competitive rate and an opportunity to grow if coaching is your life career. We require basic certifications from Red Cross/CPR/First Aid, but value the most a positive attitude, love for sport, and ability to share your knowledge with kids of various ages.
RI Marlins is actively seeking for a highly motivated coach who will be responsible for work with a Junior group. The coach should be able to communicate with athletes ages 9 - 13. The basic responsibilities are: draft practices, explain drills, work with a stop watch. The Head Coach, a member of USA swimming, will be happy to share his expertise and knowledge in creating practices and mentoring young athletes. Practice times: Mon, Wed, Fri 4 - 5.45 pm, Tue 4 - 6.30, Saturday 8 - 10.30 am. The club can provide an additional opportunity with Learn To Swim Program to expand hours of work up to 20 per week.

Westchester Aquatic Club (WEST-MR) is seeking a full-time Assistant Age Group / Senior Coach.
Job Description: Applicants must be energetic, knowledgeable, and able to communicate with parents, fellow coaches and swimmers of all ages. Candidates must be able to work as part of a coaching team and with one or more groups in the age-group and senior programs.
Qualifications: Previous coaching experience required (ASCA level 2 or higher preferred). 3+ years of USA coaching experience preferred. Ability to work, train, and instruct multiple practice groups 4 hours per day, and some mornings (as needed). Strong stroke technique background & teaching base. Strong customer service and decision making skills. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Must take direction from the Head Coach but have the ability to work independently. Knowledge of Hytek Meet Manager, Team Manager, and Team Unify, team administration skills are key. Must be energetic, give positive feedback daily to every swimmer, and a self-starter. Experience with workout and season planning. Experience with Dryland Training.
Requirements: Coach in good standing with USA Swimming with clear background check. Current CPR/Safety Training certifications. Passed USA Swimming’s Athlete Protection Training.

Trident Swim Foundation (TSC-MR) is looking for an Assistant Swim Coach. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an after school swimming/tutoring program at the Prospect Heights High School Educational Campus in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The Trident Swim Foundation is a non-for-profit organization that supports swimming and academics in urban settings. We are not a parent run club.
The coach will be required to prepare the swimmers for the PSAL season and continue throughout the year as a USA swim coach, working with our head coach, Ray Miller. Our program runs every day after school from @4:30 – 6:00pm
REQUIREMENTS: He/She should be current with first aird/AED/life saving. If possible, a current member/coach of USA swimming (if not a member, we will work with you to be certified). Must have an understanding of the latest training methods, techniques and stroke analysis; must be knowledgeable with Hytek Team Manager software as well as Microsoft Office software. DOE approved teacher. Must be on time for all workouts.
SKILLS: Must have the ability and desire to grow the programs base; must be capable of motivating swimmers, parents and volunteers; must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university or college; have a competitive swimming background.
MAIN DUTIES: The Assistant Coach will work with the Head Coach on the day-to-day management and preparation of the team for the PSAL and USA swim season; scheduling practices and competitions; allocating swimmers to different levels. The Assistant Coach must be energetic, hard working, self-motivated and goal oriented. We are looking to start the right person as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience. Condors Swim Club (COND-MR) is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach, for the Westchester Community College Pool in Valhalla, NY. Qualified applicants will work directly with Head Coach to maintain a competitive and supportive environment for young athletes. Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a coaching, athletic, competitive indoor environment. Must be in excellent physical health to handle fast pace environment. Able to work in hot, humid weather and stand for long, extended periods of time. Ability to drive to events.
