Gael Aquatic Club (GAEL-MR) is seeking Assistant Coach. As Assistant Coach of Gael Aquatic Club, employee will assist and supervise daily operation of members in practice and competitive operational situations as directed by the head coach/director.    

  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 Report to the head coach

· assist and Prepare promotional brochures for program · assist maintenance of aquatic club web site · assist and promote club through local media outlets · assist publish monthly calendars and newsletters and coordinate operational dates within pool and department schedules · keep attendance and operational records as directed by head coach · comply and keep current needed operational aquatic certifications · assist with coordinate schedules with intercollegiate coaches · keep area safe and clean 

Required Skills Qualifications: USA Swimming Registered and in good standing, CPR certification, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, Safesport Certfied

Education: B.S. degree required from a recognized college or university completed or in progress.  Specialized Skills: Experience coaching at the college, high school or equivalent club level; meet management background; computer skills including Word, Excel and Hy-Tek software and competitive background. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Competence in leadership, and decision making. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong initiative, detail and follow up skills with students athletes and staff members.  Demonstrates professional image on and off the field. Skills in counseling, and mentoring athletes. 

Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a coaching, athletic, competitive indoor environment. Must be in excellent physical health to handle fast pace environment.  Able to work in hot, humid weather and stand for long, extended periods of time. Ability to drive to events.

St. Joseph's College is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach, a qualified candidate with coaching experience at collegiate, club or high school level to assist with the Division III swim program at St. Joseph's College-Long Island campus. This individual must be certified with up to date Lifeguarding and CPR certifications. In addition, must be able to provide essential feedback to student athletes with regards to race strategy and technical aspects of all four strokes. Must be able to assist with administering and writing workouts when requested. Hours may vary due to classes and college schedule. If hired this individual is to attend all home and away meets during the course of the season and be able to attend a minimum of three practices a week. The following is our practice schedule: Monday & Wednesday 3:30-5:30 pm - Tuesday & Thursday 7-8:30 am swim / 1-2 pm dryland - Friday 12:30-1:30 pm dryland / 1:30-3p m swim.

Gatewaves Swim Team (GATE-MR) is looking for an age group coach to lead our younger groups made up of primarily 10 & under swimmers. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and instructive while working with the swimmers and positive and professional when interacting with other staff members, parents and the community. The age group coach will work directly with our Head Coach to create and implement a seasonal plan geared towards producing the best athletes possible both in and out of the pool.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience working with age group swimmers or some related profession working with children.
· A background in Age Group, High School or Collegiate swimming.
· Current Red Cross Lifesaving (Safety Training for Swim Coaches), First Aid/CPR, and Lifeguard certification and all USA Swimming background screenings

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead coach for our two younger groups as well as assist with other groups as necessary.
· Learn to work with Team Unify to aid with meet entries, parent communication and other administrative duties.
· May be required to drive to meets, meetings and trainings in various locations.

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director and the Head coach, the age group coach is responsible for operating a successful group as well as maintaining positive relationships with swim team members, parents and the community. The age group swim team coach is responsible to ensure that the Competitive Swim Program is operated under the principles of the YMCA Mission for ALL individuals. Also, to ensure the smooth implementation and day to day operations of their specific group of the Huntington YMCA Swim Team. They are responsible for helping the head coach plan as well as attend any scheduled meets and practices.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of the National YMCA Competitive Swim/Dive Program or USA Competitive Swimming Program.  · Current certification in YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard  · ARC standard first aid, CPR, AED and Coaches Safety Training, Oxygen Administration · USA Swimming Registered Coach (preferred. Work with head coach and other age group coaches to ensure continuity in athlete development. · Coaching experience preferred. Condors Swim Club (COND-MR) is looking for a full-time coach for our Clarkstown, NY location. We want a coach excited for the opportunity to grow their career and further their education in the sport of swimming; a coach with a passion for swimming and coaching young athletes.

The coach will primarily focus on our 6 - 12 year olds, but have an opportunity to work with multiple age groups and swimmers of varying skill levels. We are looking to fill the position for September 1st, but the position is also open immediately. Preference will be placed on candidates that plan to remain with the team at least two years.

Qualifications:
- Experience producing well-rounded swimmers with good technique
- Enthusiastic with a desire for continuing coaching education

The Washingtonville Seahawks Swim Club (WSSC-MR) is seeking a dedicated Head Coach to take our team to the next level. We are looking for an individual who can challenge all of our swimmers and help them succeed in their competitive goals. This is a part-time position, coaching up to 5 nights per week plus weekend swim meets. WSSC is a non-profit parent run organization that has about 110 swimmers that train at the Washingtonville High School pool located in Washingtonville, NY.

Responsibilities:
• Head coach will work with all swimmers
• Design and plan workouts, instruct swimmers on swimming technique
• Educates and supervises all assistant coaches
• Set meet schedules for long and short course seasons
• Supervise and set lifeguard schedule
• Oversees individual and team entries of all swim meets
• Attends pertinent meetings (ESSL, USA and club board meetings as needed, etc.)
• Create positive environment encouraging swimmers’ passion for the sport of swimming
• Establish positive professional relationships with swimmers, families and staff
• Assist with the planning and implementation of home swim meets
• Update portions of WSSC website and send regular emails/texts to swim families
• Completes all administration work in a timely fashion
